Drop Off Your Unwanted Meds At Wall Police HQ

Dispose of your unused or unwanted drugs safely at police headquarters Saturday.

The Wall Township Police Department is scheduled to accept unused, unwanted or expired medication in October, authorities said.

The "Operation Take Back'' is a national program run by the Drug Enforcement Agency through local police departments, giving residents an opportunity to dispose of their unused medication safely.

Wall Township Police will be accepting medications, no questions asked, on Saturday, Oct. 26 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at police headquarters, 2700 Allaire Rd.

Police ask that residents dropping off unused medication remove labels or any other identifying marks before bringing them to police headquarters.

The medications will be taken to a central drop-off point in Monmouth County, where the DEA will pick them up and dispose of them safely.
