Hess Delivers 1,000 New Toy Trucks To Belmar Toy Drive

To help bolster the annual Belmar Holiday Toy Drive, the Hess Corporation wheeled in 1,000 Hess toy trucks to borough hall Thursday, officials said.

The toy drive is collecting new, unwrapped toys to give to Belmar families in need this holiday season. Numerous Belmar families are still displaced following Superstorm Sandy and face their second Christmas away from home, officials said.

“The Hess Corporation was a big partner to the borough last year in the wake of Hurricane Sandy,’’ Mayor Matt Doherty said in a release. “Their donation this season shows their continued dedication to the residents of Belmar.  I can’t thank them enough.”
