A Wall Youth Cheerleading squad has capped an undefeated season with a national title.
The Wall team competed in the Division 10 small school division, pulling ahead of squads from San Antonio, Tx., and Toms River to win the top spot in their division during the American Youth Cheer National Championships, held in Florida last week.
The Wall team, comprised chiefly of elementary school girls, placed first in the Big East Regional competition, held at the Sun Bank Arena in Trenton last month.
The win in Trenton followed another first place finish in October, when the squad of 16 girls won the Jersey Shore American Youth Cheer Competition in their division.
