North Wall Stays Alive In Little League Tournament

North Wall Stays Alive in LL Tournament

On Wednesday evening North Wall lost an exciting game to Manasquan/Brielle
13-9.

After trailing 8-0, North Wall, led by the relief pitching of Romeo Palmieri and home run hitting of Jake Malone, came roaring back. Timley hitting by Jacob Rowalt, Alex Huss and Dallas Colatrella also contributed to the effort. Superb fielding by Dylan Colatrella and baserunning by the entire team helped bring North Wall back, but just short of victory.

On Thursday evening, North Wall defeated Belmar/Avon 8-1 to stay alive in the double elimination tournament.

Joey Saives came on in the second inning and provided North Wall with a much needed outstanding pitching performance. He also had a clutch two-out, two-RBI double. Also, Tate Peterson collected two hits on the night.
