Atlantic City & a Pipeline to Linden

Today in New Jersey history:

March 3, 1854: Atlantic City was incorporated.

March 3, 1944: The first unrefined petroleum from Texas via the “Little Inch” (actually twenty inches in diameter) pipeline reached Bayway Refinery in Linden.
