Former Allaire Chief Ranger Dies at 75

Frederic Leon Louquet lived in Farmingdale and served in the Vietnam War.

Frederic Leon Louquet, 75, of Farmingdale died on Thursday, October 24, 2013. Frederic was a US Navy Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War prior to becoming a Ranger for the New Jersey State Park System, most recently retiring as Chief Ranger for Allaire State Park. 

Frederic is survived by four children, Janine Louquet of Farmingdale, Frederic (Rick) Louquet of Deltona, FL, Samuel Luria of Lakewood and Simone Zimmerman of Weymouth, MA; and two sisters, Alice Crawford of Freehold and Virginia Gillespie of Adelphia.

A receiving of friends will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM. Burial of ashes will follow at Ardena Baptist Church Cemetery, Adelphia Road, Freehold, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Frederic may be made to American Lung Association, 1031 US Highway 22, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
