Former Wall Schools Business Admin Dies

Paul W. Bennett of the Manasquan Park section of Wall went to be with his Lord Saturday October 12, 2013 at Meridian Nursing and Rehab at Brick.

Paul was born on April 22, 1932 in Long Island. He was drafted into the Navy in 1956. Paul was a graduate of Ryder and Rutgers Universities. He was employed as a School Business Administrator by the Wall Township Board of Ed for 12 years and the Middletown Board of Ed for 15 years. Paul was retired from the Board of Directors of Manasquan Savings Bank. He attended the Allenwood Church. He was an active member of Gideon’s International for many years.

Paul was predeceased by his Dad and Mom, Frank and Mary Fowler, his brothers John, Richard and Donald Bennett and his brother in law Arnold Conover.
Surviving are his wife Eleanor Conover Bennett, his siblings Lucille Schilt, Joseph Bennett and his wife Miriam and Betty Smith and her husband Ray. Paul is also survived by cousins Dot Cox and husband Fred, Bruce Whitehead and wife Dongsook, brother-in-law John Conover and wife Betty and his sister in law Vera Conover. “Uncle Paul” is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and a multitude of wonderful friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday October 18, 10 to 11:30 am at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road. A funeral service will be held on Friday at the funeral home following the visitation. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Rt. 33, Neptune.
