Township Resident Michael Kost Dies at 86

Worked for Wall schools for 17 years.

Michael Kost, 86, of Freehold Township passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and had lived in Wall Township before moving here in 1997. 

Michael was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed as a paraprofessional for the Wall Township Board of Education for seventeen years before retiring in 2007.  Prior to his employment at Wall High School, he was a truck driver. 

Michael was predeceased by a daughter, LindaVuillemot in 2003. He is survived by his wife Lois, three sons, Michael Kost of Mooresville, NC, Joseph Boywitt and his wife, Tammy of Neptune, and Douglas Boywitt and his wife, Sarah of Brick Township; four daughters, Helen Heard and her husband, George of Virginia Beach, VA, Diane Perry of Port Richie, FL, Dawn Morse and her husband, Charles of Brick Township and Joanne Lopez of Freehold Township, twenty grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 PM with his funeral service at 8:30 PM with Rev.
