Bullying from the higher powers

I have to say that maybe I am an intense parent and call me a mamma bear but I have an issue with a lunch aid calling my 12 year old daughter out in front of 20 other kids in line at lunch and telling her that her lunch account is $14.00 is arrears and that her parents need to pay it. My daughter was so embarrassed that she did not buy lunch the following day as I was unable to put money on her account yet. 
I am a single mom, working my tail off who gets paid every two weeks and those last couple days before the next check is tough... and this happens to be 2 days before that next check. 
I called to speak to the woman who handles the meal pay program and have to tell you, I was met with attitude and no compassion. I tried to explain to her that this is not a subject that should be addressed to the children. They have the parents email addresses, phone numbers, etc. and there was no need to directly embarrass or add stress to our children over their meal pay account. In this day and age of bullying, trying to fit in, being concerned about wearing fake Uggs over real ones, or Hollister vs Old Navy, being pretty & popular... putting a 12 year old in front of 20 other kids and then telling her that her parents haven't paid her lunch account and she owes $14.00+ and it needs to be paid ASAP is WRONG. 
You know what this woman told me... that she is sorry MY CHILD has an issue with it, but she is the only one who has ever complained. I said it is a sad day when a school program cares less about the well being of it's children and maybe I am just the only parent with a child who actually told their parent they were too embarrassed to order food and be told AGAIN about the money owed. And maybe I was just the only parent crazy enough to call & care enough to have an issue with the way they are handling our kids.
I had to hang up on her for fearing of losing it on her. She obviously doesn't have kids and if she does, she doesn't care if they get picked on or pick on others.
Way to go Wall Intermediate!!! Great way to run your food program! I put a call into the school first thing this morning... but am yet to get a call back.
