The Wall School district is closed again today. A decision on whether to open Tuesday or the rest of the week is due today by about 2 p.m., according to Superintendent Daniel Simon.
The district’s website has been down since the storm, but a temporary site at www.classlink.com/wall has been established mainly to communicate about school closings/openings until the official site is functional again.

It is Day 7 without power for more than 6,000 customers in Wall Township. Jersey Central Power & Light is now saying that power will be restored to most customers by Wednesday, Nov. 7 but some customers may have to wait up to two weeks before the lights go on. If you’re out of power still, we empathize. It’s not fun. And getting old.
Today is an odd day, numerically speaking. If your license plate has a final digit that is an odd number, lucky you! Go wait in a gas line to fill up your tank. Evens, you sit this one out until tomorrow.
For anyone keeping track, the Wall Township Police have responded to 1,468 calls since the beginning of the storm; Firefighters to 301 and EMS to 377, according to the Office of Emergency Management.
