Senator Beck Faces Backlash

Community, Business and Government will converge on Colts Neck High School in October at a Town Hall meeting where people from throughout Monmouth County will have an opportunity to speak and interact with their State representatives. All are welcome to bring questions and ideas as the Colts Neck Business Association (CNBA) hosts a distinguished slate of guests, including Senator Jennifer Beck, Assemblywomen Mary Pat Angelini, Caroline Casagrande, Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden and Colts Neck Mayor Mike Fitzgerald.  This public forum format will discuss current issues of importance, followed by some informal time to meet and greet the panelists and other attendees.

The most intriguing of the attendees is State Senator Jennifer Beck.  There is rampant speculation that she will finally demand an overdue investigation into alleged pension fraud committed by her friend and political ally Lt Governor Kim Guadagno.  So far, three-years after the fact, Ms. Beck has been woefully silent.

Jennifer Beck has sponsored legislation eliminating “double-dipping,” which in itself is  not illegal; however, it’s curious why she has failed to express any outrage or calls for an investigation into allegations of pension fraud, or outrage about false statements, committed in the district she represents—enabling double-dipping within the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office.

Approximately three-years ago, prize winning investigator reporter Mark Lavergkist, of NewJerseyWatchdog, produced overwhelming and compelling evidence of pension fraud, committed by the Lt. Governor while Monmouth County Sheriff.

There has been speculation that the state senator will finally call for a long overdue, independent objective investigation of fraud that was committed three-years ago, and has cost taxpayers of this county and state dearly.

She will be present at Colts Neck High School along with other Monmouth countywide elected representatives on October 22nd.  Door will open at 7pm for this event, which is being sponsored by the Colts Neck Business Association.

On another local matter, the possibility exists that Ms. Beck will also address her proposed legislation regarding the banning of Motocross facilities in residential neighborhoods.  This  proposal has stirred controversy because a proposed motocross facility is located in Tinton Falls, adjacent to a  county garbage dump. This action on the part of Jennifer Beck is pitting motocross enthusiasts against some residents.  Owners of the proposed facility argue details have been known to zoning officials, and therefore should be a local zoning decision; however, Ms. Beck has unwantingly injected herself into this local issue, and seems to want to garner as much publicity as possible, just weeks before her re-election bid.

Jersey Shore Motocross--the proposed developer of the track of land--has vowed to fight against Ms. Beck's unwanted intrusion into local Tinton Falls affairs.
