Accidents In Wall

A list of recent accidents in Wall Township

Chief Robert L. Brice reports the there were nine (9) motor vehicle accidents during the dayshift on 22 May 2013:

  • 743AM Highway 34 and Allaire Road (Allenwood Circle): 2 vehicles collided in the circle while heading north.  No injuries were reported.
  • 803AM Highway 34 and Hurley Pond Road: Thomas Clayton Jr, while driving an unloaded hearse, struck Jennifer Cies who was stopped at the red light, then she struck Rena Meade.  Both Cies and Meade were treated at the scene by Wall Township First Aid, but not transported to the hospital.  Clayton and Cies’s vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
  • 843AM Highway 35 and Allaire Road: A 2 vehicle rear end collision at the traffic light.  Christopher Graham of Leonardo struck the rear of Robert Haynes of Manasquan.  No injuries were reported and no vehicles were towed.
  • 154 PM 2401 Highway 35: Parking lot collision where Mary Carr, 85 of Brick, went backwards instead of forward striking 1 parked vehicle and pushing it into another.  Two vehicles towed; no injuries reported.
  • 255 PM Atlantic Ave near Highway 35: A 2 vehicle rear end collision. James Miller of Manasquan did not see the stopped traffic and hit the rear of Hubert Gaul of Brick.  No injuries reported; no vehicles towed.
  • 410 PM Highway 35 near Tarpon Dr: Michelle Petrie of Wall did not notice stopped traffic and struck Mary Reynolds of Point Pleasant who then struck Scott Mizrahi of Asbury Park.  No injuries were reported, but Petrie’s vehicle was towed.
  • 432 PM Highway 35 and Old Bridge Road: A 3 vehicle collision where Michelle Koenig, 61 of Brick, ran the red light crossing Hwy 35.  She was then struck by Sean Bloomer, 27 of Brick, who was southbound on Hwy 35.  Ms. Koenig’s vehicle then spun striking Bartholomew Colicelli, 61 of Brick, who was stopped at the red light on Old Bridge Road.  All 3 vehicles were towed from the scene.  Mr. Colicelli was treated at the scene; Ms. Koenig and Mr. Bloomer were both transported to JSUMC.  Ms. Koenig was summonsed as well as Mr. Bloomer who had a suspended driver’s license.
  • 448 PM New Bedford Road and 18th Ave: Robert Watson of Henryville, Pennsylvania did not notice stopped traffic and struck the rear of Kevin Massey of Brick.  No injuries were reported and no vehicles towed.
  • 518 PM Highway 33 and Wyckoff Road: Jennifer Gibson of Tinton Falls did not notice stopped traffic and struck Sandra Conti from behind. No injuries reported and neither vehicle towed.
