Asbury Park Man Jailed For Stealing Gas
Terrance A. Ewart gassed up at Wall Shell station and left without paying, police say
An Asbury Park man was jailed Thursday on theft charges after he filled his car’s gas tank at a local station and left without paying, according to arrest warrants.
Terrance A. Ewart, 30, filled his car’s tank with $61 in gas at the Shell Station at Route 35 and Belmar Boulevard Thursday and left before paying, according to the warrant.
He was taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $2,500 bail. Ewart remained jailed Friday, with an additional bail amount of $43,152 for back child support, according to jail records.
