Asbury Park Pair Indicted on Drug Charges

Suspect also faces charges of resisting arrest, hindering his own apprehension

Two Asbury Park residents face drug charges stemming from an arrest in Wall in February.

A Monmouth County grand jury on Thursday handed up indictments against Richard M. Thomas, 26, and Starquasha M. Jones, 20, on third-degree possession charges.

The grand jury found that sufficient evidence exists to charge both Asbury Park residents with possession of cocaine after the pair were arrested on Feb. 22 in the township.

Thomas faces additional charges, according to the indictment from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
