Belmar Resident Who Tried To Get Codeine Arrested For Fraud

A 24-year-old Belmar resident has been arrested on fraud charges after allegedly attempting to obtain codeine, police said.

Supreme Vinson was charged recently with obtaining possession of a drug via misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception or subterfuge, police said.

Vinson allegedly tried to obtain liquid codeine in Ocean Township by using a fraudulent prescription, police said.

He was arrested on Jan. 27. Bail information was no immediately available.
