Burglaries In West Belmar Prompt Police To Ask For Help

Burglaries happened on Monday in the area of 18th Avenue and People St., police say.

Police are asking for your help catching a burglar or burglars responsible for home break-ins in the area of 18th Avenue and People Street in the West Belmar section of town.

Homes were entered through unlocked window or doors and money, jewelry and a computer tablet were taken Monday. No further information about the burglaries was immediately available.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Patrolman Adam Cox or Detective Christopher Lisewski at (732) 449-4500.
