Drunken Driving Arrests Over Labor Day Weekend

Wall Police charge many with driving while intoxicated over long holiday weekend

Wall Police made numerous arrests for drunken driving over the long Labor Day weekend.

Robert Dimarco, 60, of Toms River, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 34 around 11:49 p.m. Sept. 2. Patrolman Mike Hurden was the arresting officer, Sgt. Steven Wolter said.

Elias Casado, 23, of Clifton, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 138 around 2:11 a.m. Sept. 3, Wolter said. Patrolman Evan Baubles was the arresting officer, Wolter said.

John E. Hegarty III, 28, of West Long Branch, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Wolter said. Patrolman Craig Whitman was the arresting officer, Wolter said.

Michael J. Pecoraro Jr., 20, of Spring Lake, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance following a traffic stop on Route 35 around 9:45 p.m. Sept. 3, Wolter said. Patrolman James Cadigan was the arresting officer, Wolter said.

William B. McCain Jr., 33, of Neptune, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Route 138 near Allenwood Road around 2:07 a.m. Sept. 2, Wolter said. McCain also had a traffic warrant from another jurisdiction, Wolter said. Patrolman Mike Hurden was the arresting officer, Wolter said.
