Two Are Charged With Drunken Driving

Traffic stops net two locals for driving while intoxicated

Two local men were arrested on drunken driving charges in separate stops on Route 138 early Wednesday morning, police said.

Carlos Medina, 30, of Freehold was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 1:20 a.m. He was released with a court date by Patrolman Todd Verrecchia, according to a release.

Steven Notargiacomo, 25, of Freehold, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop near Marconi Road around 1:27 a.m. Notargiacomo was also charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman James Cadigan. Notargiacomo was charged and released with a court date, the release said.
