Drunken Driving, Disorderly Conduct Arrests Overnight Tuesday

Wall Police make a number of arrests Tuesday night

Five people were arrested on drunken driving-related charges and another was charged with disorderly conduct overnight Tuesday, police said.

Daniel J. Rojas, 28, of Ridgefield was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 138 near Allenwood Road just before 1 a.m., Sgt. Joseph Wilbert said. The passenger in the vehicle, Michael F. Cafiero, 23, also of Ridgefield, was arrested and charged with allowing another to drive while intoxicated, Wilbert said. Patrolman Hunter Brocriede was the arresting officer.

Jason L. Scudder, of Toms River, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Belmar Boulevard near Glendola Road around 1 a.m., Wilbert said. Patrolman Todd Verrecchiawas the arresting officer.

Joshua Floyd, 18, of Spring Lake was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at the Red Carpet Inn at 2035 Route 35 around 2:30 a.m., Wilbert said.

Brian J. Cilento, 29, of Piscataway, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 138 near Old Mill Road around 3 a.m., Wilbert said. Patrolman Todd Verrecchia was the arresting officer.

Matthew J. Edelstein, 21, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 34 near Wyckoff Road around 3 a.m., Wilbert said. Patrolman Hunter Brockriede was the arresting officer.
