Five Arrested In Separate Incidents Friday

Five were arrested on drunken driving and drug charges in separate stops before midnight on Friday, police said.

Gregory Schwerd, 41, of Paterson, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 34 around 8:17 p.m., Schwerd was released with a court date, Sgt. Todd Czech said.

Jaclyn Franciosa, 21, of Jersey City, was arrested and charged with heroin possession, possession of syringes and paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 34 around 11:04 p.m., Czech said.

Franciosa was taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $12,000 bail. Czech said.

Nathan Johnson, 31, of Point Pleasant, was arrested and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana following a traffic stop on Old Mill Road, Czech said.

Johnson was processed and released with a court date, Czech said.

Mathew Pompliano, 29, of Highlands, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated during a DWI checkpoint on Route 34 around 11:51 p.m., Czech said.

Pompliano was charged and released with a court date. Czech said.

Ross Leposa, 43, of Wall, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated during a DWI checkpoint  on Route 34 around 11:58 p.m. Friday.

Leposa was charged and released with a court date, Czech said.
