Freehold Man Found Unresponsive On Side Of Road

Later charged with heroin and oxycodone possession

A 26-year-old Freehold man was arrested and charged with drug possession after police found him lying unresponsive on the side of a road near Route 138, police said Tuesday.

Kyle Kline was found around 5 p.m. at Old Mill Road and Sunset Terrace after police responded to a report that a skateboarder was on the side of the road. Kline, who is believed to have suffered a drug overdose, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, by Wall EMS, Sgt. Chad Clark said.

Kline was later charged with heroin and oxycodone possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $7,800, Clark said.
