Freehold Woman Charged With Drunken Driving

Traffic stop in the early morning hours nets impaired driver

A Freehold woman was arrested and charged with drunken driving early Thursday morning, police said.

Laura A. Roberts, 27, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 138 near Route 34 around 2 a.m. Thursday. Patrolman Hunter Brockriede was the arresting officer, Sgt. Joseph Wilber said.
