Has Your House Flooded?

Residents are encouraged to take an online survey to help reduce damage from future natural disasters

Residents of Wall are encouraged to take a short survey that could help to reduce the damage from natural disasters, police said.

The five-minute, 15 question survey is part of an overall strategy to plan for and mitigate the damage caused by natural disasters. Commissioned by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the survey is being offered to residents on the Monmouth County Sherriff’s website, Sgt. Joseph Wilbert said.

The Monmouth County Freeholders are working with county and state emergency responders to update the county’s All Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan, a document that identifies the natural hazards that a particular community is succeptable to and the extent to which the community is affected by them, Wilbert said.
