Hit And Run Accident Caps Busy Weekend For Wall Police

Drunken driving, minor drug possession among charges over the weekend

A hit and run accident on Route 138 Sunday capped a busy weekend for Wall Police.

Ernesto Segura Jaimez, 23, of Lakewood, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 9:45 p.m. Sunday after causing the minor accident on Route 138. No one was injured in the crash, Sgt. Steven Wolter said. Jaimez was found driving eastbound on 18th Avenue shortly after the accident, Wolter said.

Patrick Ward, 46, of Lavallette, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 34 around 11:41 p.m. Friday. Patrolman Ian Hatch was the arresting officer,Wolter said.

Neil Valentino, 21, of Howell, was arrested and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the Budget Inn on Route 35 around 11:00 p.m. Saturday, Wolter said. Valentino also had two traffic warrants out of Howell. He was released after posting $2,450 bail. Patrolman Ian Hatch was the arresting officer, Wolter said.

Lorraine Jordan, 52, of Brielle, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 11:15 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Route 35, Wolter said. Patrolman Jack Gramlich was the arresting officer, Wolter said.

Julie A. Patterson, 23, of Toms River, was arrested and charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 35 around 1:35 a.m. Sunday, Wolter said. Patrolman Adam Cox was the arresting officer.

Steven A. Ciufo, 36, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with possession of Suboxone without a prescription following a traffic stop on Route 34 around 3:45 a.m. Sunday. Patrolwoman Amy Drackwicz was the arresting officer, Wolter said.
