Hospital Road Shut Until Afternoon

Truck takes out utility pole Wednesday

Hospital Road will be closed for much of the day as crews work to repair a downed utility pole following a single car accident Wednesday night, police said.

Gabriel L. Matthews, 39, of Boulder, Colo., was traveling west on Hospital Road when she lost control of her 2002 Chevy pick-up during heavy rain. Matthews’ truck left the road, hitting the pole and then a tree, Sgt. Chad Clark said.
