Howell Woman to Answer Wall Burglary, Theft Charges

Accused being held in Monmouth County Correctional Institution

A Howell woman will make her first appearance in court next month to answer charges alleging she robbed a Wall house in June.

Stephanie DiBenedetto, 22, of Salem Hill Road faces burglary and theft charges in connection with the June 15 burglary, according to court documents.

Police said she forced her way in to a Martin Road home and stole several pieces of "fine jewelry" valued at more than $500.

DiBenedetto is being held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $12,000 bail, although jail records show she faces additional charges out of Wall stemming from other arrests.

She is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 8.
