But after an investigation by Detective Michael Steitz and Patrolman Christopher Gallagher, Lanzaro was also charged with third degree false public alarm, fourth degree violation of a restraining order, fourth degree stalking and harassment, Wilbert said.

The additional charges stem from a false report of a structure fire reported at about 4:00 a.m. Monday in the Sea Girt Estates section of town, Wilbert said.

Members of the Police Department, South Wall Fire Department and Wall Community First Aid responded to the alarm to find no emergency, Wilbert said.

Lanzaro is being held at the Monmouth County Jail, Freehold Township, in lieu of $21,500 bail, Wilbert said.

Anyone who may have any information that may aid in the investigation is urged to contact Detective Steitz of the Wall Township Police Department at (732) 449-4500.
