Minor Drug, Drunken Driving And Warrant Arrests Overnight

Three Manasquan teens were arrested on minor drug charges, a Brick man was arrested and charged with drunken driving and a Manahawkin woman was picked up on an outstanding warrant overnight Monday, police said.

Lauro Guzman, 19, Jairo Garcia, 19, and a male 15-year-old – all of Manasquan -- were arrested and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia around 10:51 p.m. Monday at Orchard Park, Sgt. Kenneth Brown said.

Carlos Pereira, 24, of Brick was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop around 1:32 a.m. The location of the stop was not immediately available. Pereira also was charged with being under the influence of a controlled, dangerous substance, Brown said.

Kaitlyn Ferdon, 21, of Manahawkin, was arrested on a warrant from another jurisdiction following a traffic stop around 3:04 a.m., Brown said. The location of the stop was not immediately available.
