Numerous Arrests On Drunken Driving Charges
Long weekend produces many arrests on the roads in town.
Numerous area residents were charged with drunken driving over the holiday weekend, police said.
James R. Hausler, 41, of Staten Island, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 2:01 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Route 34 near Allaire Road. Patrolman Patrick Brady was the arresting officer, O’Halloran said.
Salvatore Lopa, 26, of Fairview, Bergen County, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 2:40 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Route 138 near Club Drive. Patrolman Justin Hudson was the arresting officer, O’Halloran said.

Anthony Weber, 24, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 2:41 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Route 34 near the Garden State Parkway. Patrolman Hunter Brockriede was the arresting officer, O’Halloran said.
Jeffrey Estremera, 30, of Hoboken, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 10:57 p.m. Saturday following a traffic estop on Route 138. Patrolman James Cadigan was the arresting officer, O’Halloran said.

Chad Mesmer, 28, of Keyport, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 1:53 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Route 138. O’Halloran was the arresting officer.
