Two area residents in separate incidents were arrested and charged with drunken driving over the weekend, police said.
Robert Demedici, 32, of Manahawkin, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop around 1 a.m. Sunday. The location of the stop was not immediately available.
Rebecca Furman, 22, of Manalapan, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop around 1:14 a.m. Sunday. The location of the stop was not immediately available.
