Police Ask For Help Solving Burglary

Riverside Terrace home broken into on Monday afternoon

Police are asking for the public’s help in catching the burglar or burglars who broke into a home on the south side of town Monday.

A Riverside Terrace home was broken into between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. and entered through a rear window. The owners were not at home at the time, Lt. Walter Pomphrey said.

Wall Police are asking residents to call if they saw anything suspicious in the area of Riverside Terrace Monday afternoon, Pomphrey said.

Residents are also reminded to be cautious of people knocking on their doors or walking around their properties. All solicitors or company-employed workers should also have and display proper identification, Pomphrey said.

Contact the Wall Township Police: (732) 449-4500; Detectives: (732) 449-4800, or the Tips Hotline: (732) 280-4288. All calls can be confidential, Pomphrey said.
