Police Chase of Silver Vehicle on Route 37 Westbound

Incident unfolding at 4:15 p.m.

A police chase of a silver vehicle, possibly a Monte Carlo, was called off on Route 37 westbound at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy said the incident is still unfolding and under investigation at 4:15 p.m., but confirmed a high-speed vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 37 near Washington Street.

The vehicle was silver, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and had Pennsylvania license plates, he said.

Police units had responded and Mastronardy said a possible injury was not confirmed.

No further information was released on the vehicle or cause of the pursuit at this time.

Well obviously we have Amish in Toms River. Obama personally put them here, and now he's giving them jobs? We need to get our guns and get them out of here, because next thing you know theyre going to start selling quilts on the corner, and our tax dollars are going to pay for apple butter busts!
