Police: Drug Possession Charges After Two Motor Vehicle Stops Find Heroin

Wall Police Sgt. F. Lancellotti released the following police blotter:

On Thursday May 9,  at approximately 12:30 a.m. David DePasquale, 21 years of age, Toms River, was arrested for Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35. Also arrested for the same offenses was a 17 year old passenger in the vehicle. Both were charged accordingly and released with a pending court date. Patrolman Dan Santoro was the arresting officer.

On Thursday May 9, 2013 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Samara Katz, 41 years of age, Pt. Pleasant, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Atlantic Ave. Ms. Katz was additionally charged with Possession of Heroin. Ms. Katz was subsequently transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of $15,000.00 bail. Patrolman Adam Cox was the arresting officer.
