Police: Man Exposed Himself To Kids

No luring in lewdness incident in West Belmar section of town, cops say

Police are looking for a man who exposed himself to passing kids out riding their bicycles Monday in the West Belmar section of the township.

Two unidentified juveniles were riding on 17th Avenue near I street around 2:42 p.m. when an older model white passenger vehicle approached, said Sgt. Joseph Wilbert.

The driver stopped his vehicle, stayed inside, and exposed his genitals. The driver did not try to lure the kids into the vehicle. The driver then left the area, traveling west on 17th avenue toward Route 35, Wilbert said.
