The Wall Township Police Department is looking for a man who entered an unlocked car parked in an unlocked garage off 18th Avenue Friday night before being chased off by the car's owner.

The incident occurred around 8:37 p.m. Friday near Kimberly Drive, Sgt. Todd Czech said.

A man described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, standing about 5-foot 5-inches tall and wearing a baseball cap entered an unlocked vehicle parked in an unsecured garage of his home.  The resident confronted the man, who ran away, Czech said.
