Police Searching For Burglary Suspect

A man was seen leaving an unlocked house in the south side of town Tuesday

Police are looking for a burglary suspect after an incident in the south end of town Tuesday.

Police were called to a Myrtle Avenue home around 3:30 p.m. when a resident reported seeing a white male, between 5-feet 10-inches and 6-feet tall, enter an unlocked home and flee before officers arrived, Sgt. Joseph Wilbert said.

A K-9 unit from Point Pleasant Beach arrived to assist in the search for the suspect, Wilbert said, with no results.

Anyone who may have information is urged to contact the Wall Township Police Department Detective Bureau Tip Line (732) 280-4388, Wilbert said.
