Route 34 has been reopened between Route 18 and Route 33 following an hours-long accident investigation that shut the state highway, backing up traffic into Wall.
Howell Police opened the road around noon after it was shuttered during the morning commute following a crash that killed one person. Howell Police have not released the name of the person killed pending notification of family members.

Howell Police estimate the road could open around noon today.
Traffic, heavily backed up in Wall earlier this morning, is slow and still heavy in the area. Plan an alternate route if you can.
