Second Accident At Intersection Nets Whiting Man Tickets

Ramshorn Drive and Atlantic Avenue the site of another collision

A Whiting man was charged with several traffic violations after an accident at Ramshorn Drive and Atlantic Avenue Monday afternoon, police said.

Edward Bucina, 50, ran a stop sign at the intersection, crashing into a car driven by Matthew Doyle, 26, of Manasquan around 2:30 p.m., Sgt. Joseph Wilbert said in a release.

Bucina was extricated his vehicle by the South Wall Fire Department and taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, by Wall Community First Aid. Doyle refused medical treatment from Community First Aid.

Bucina was charged with careless driving, not wearing a seatbelt and failure to stop at a stop sign, Wilbert said.
