Several Arrested In Wall Following Sunday's Parade

Drunken driving, a minor accident and active warrants among charges

An afternoon accident on Route 138 and Allenwood Road led to the arrest of a Howell man on drunken driving charges, police said.

Nicholas B. Dzielak, 25, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after the vehicle he was driving struck the rear of another vehicle stopped at the intersection’s traffic light around 5:29 p.m., Sgt. Michael Tozer said.

Wall Police arrested and charged four other people Sunday, Tozer said.

Keri M. Johnson, 46, of Glen Rock, Bergen County, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Belmar Boulevard near New Bedford Road around 3:39 p.m., Tozer said.

Catalina Londono, 28, of Bloomfield, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 4:23 p.m. following a traffic stop on Belmar Boulevard near the commuter parking lot of the Garden State Parkway. Patrolman Miles Shanklin was the arresting officer, Tozer said.

Arturo Gonzalez, 30, of Lakewood, was arrested and charged with warrants out of Brick Township and Lakewood Township following a traffic stop on 18th Avenue near Baileys Corner Road around 8:40 p.m. Gonzalez posted bail on both warrants and was released, Tozer said.

Christopher Cooper, 29, of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop near J Street around 9:20 p.m., Tozer said.
