Skydiver Misses Target, Lands In Tree

Brick man unharmed in incident

A skydiver apparently misjudged the wind and ended up in a tree near the Monmouth Executive Airport Wednesday night, police said.

Wall Township First Aid Squad and Glendola Fire Company responded around 8:00 p.m. to the West Hurley Pond Road airport but 36-year-old Christpher Geskey had already freed himself from a tree unharmed, Sgt. Erik Ertle said.

Sky Dive Jersey Shore runs a skydiving business located on the southwest portion of the airport. Patrolman Frank Kuhl was the investigating officer, Ertle said.
