A Spring Lake man was arrested and charged after he was found to have more than an ounce of marijuana in his car, police said.
Jack Clark, 20, was arrested and charged Saturday around 12:30 a.m. following a traffic stop on Wall Church Road, Sgt. Erik Ertle said.
Patrolman James Cadigan suspected that Clark was hiding drugs and Clark’s 2003 Mercedes Benz was impounded. Cadigan obtained a search warrant and a K-9 unit was called in. About 35 grams of marijuana was found in the car, Ertle said.
Clark was released with a court date, Ertle said.
