Third Suspect Charged In Home Burglaries

Police name a third person wanted in connection with recent crime wave

Police have issued arrest warrants for a 20-year-old woman whose last known address was in Lakewood for her connection with a recent spate of home burglaries, authorities said Thursday.

Leeann M. Applegate, of Lakewood, Jackson and Jersey City, is wanted by Wall police in connection with a wave of at home burglaries that have plagued the town since late last month.

Lt. Walter Pomphrey said.

Applegate has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit burlgary, one count of burglary and one count of theft of movable property, all third degree crimes, Pomphrey said.

Applegate has been entered into a statewide police database of wanted people, Pomphrey said.
