Trick Or Treating Canceled

Dangerous conditions still exist; event to be re-scheduled

While trees are still uprooted, much of the town remains without power and traffic signals are still dark throughout Wall Township in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the annual Halloween trick or treating is canceled, police said Tuesday.

The annual tradition will be rescheduled. No date was available Tuesday.

Wall Township Schools will remain closed Wednesday, according to Superintendent Daniel Simon. No word on whether the district would open Thursday.
