Two Arrested In Separate Incidents

Drug possession and drunken driving the charges in weekend arrests

Wall Police arrested two men in separate instances overnight Saturday.

Joseph Rosato, 20, of Ridgefield Park, was arrested and charged around 9:30 p.m. Saturday with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 35. Detective Sean O’Halloran was the arresting officer, Sgt. Frank Lancellotti said.

Richard Peoples, 57, of Point Pleasant, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at Routes 33 and 34. Patrolman Hunter Brockriede was the arresting officer, Lancellotti said.
