Two Arrested On Drunken Driving Charges

Women from Toms River and Cream Ridge arrested in separate stops

Two area people were arrested and  charged with drunken driving overnight Sunday, police said.

Daphne Richardson, 46, of Toms River was arrested and charged around 2:05 a.m. Sunday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on 18th Ave. near Old Mill Road by Ptl. Evan Baubles, Sgt. Steven Wolter said.

Alaina Menez, 25, of Cream Ridge, was arrested and charged around 2:30 a.m. Sunday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 138 near Brinley Road by Ptl. Dan Mason, Wolter said.
