UPDATE: Two Men Dead In Early Morning Crash In Wall

Investigation ongoing; names not released

Two men died in a single-car crash early this morning on Ramshorn Drive, authorities said.

The pair died when their 2000 Honda Odessey struck a tree in front of 2386 Ramshorn Dr. around 4:27 a.m., said Charles Webster, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

The two men, who are not yet being identified by police pending notification of family members, were pronounced dead at the scene, Webster said.

Ramshorn Drive between Paynters and Birch Place was closed for several hours because of the crash investigation. It was recently reopened.

Wall Community First Aid, South Wall Fire Rescue, MONOC Medics, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, and the Serious Collision Analysis Response team also responded.
