Two Face Drug Dealing Charges In Toms River

Police raid Walnut Street apartment.

Police and Ocean County Prosecutor's Office detectives charged two Toms River residents with drug dealing after a raid of their apartment on Wednesday, County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford said on Thursday.

Shondale Latimer, 36, and Christina Rubino, 32, both of 47 Walnut Street, Apt A-4, are facing charges after law enforcement executed a search warrant of the apartment.

Latimer was charged with possession of heroin under one half ounce with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of CDS (Heroin) with intent to distribute while within 100 feet of a school, possession of CDS (Suboxone and Oxycodone), possession of marijuana and possession of hypodermic syringes, Ford said in a statement. Judge Rochelle Gizinski set bail for Latimer at $40,000 cash only, Ford said.

Rubino was charged with possession of heroin under one half ounce with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of CDS (Heroin) with intent to distribute while within 100 feet of a school, possession of CDS (Suboxone and Oxycodone), possession of marijuana and possession of hypodermic syringes, Ford said. She was released on a summons.

Police and county detectives seized approximately 210 bags of heroin, a quantity of marijuana, a quantity of prescription pills (Suboxone and oxycodone) as well as hypodermic syringes, as well as $670 and a 1996 white Nissan Maxima, Ford said.

Toms River Police's Emergency Services Unit and its K-9 Unit took part in the raid with detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor's Special Operations Unit, Ford said.

What apartment complex? there is Paradise Club at 17 Walnut, not sure which ones are at 47 Walnut. There is a large complex further down the road?

One has a cash bail and the other released on summons. Now i see approx 4 felonies here each . So you can prob figure out which one is ..shall we say "talking" to police....eithier way depending on records they will drop 3 of 4 charges and both will get probation.....the only positive thing to come of this is there is a little less heroin and pills this week....maybe my house or truck wont be broken into...OH THATS RITE IM STILL IN HOTEL....THANX FEMA

limo3687 whats the point in releasing the woman. She was also charged with intent to distribute.
