Two New York residents in separate incidents Sunday were charged with drunken driving, authorities said.
Dean Mercuris, 22, Laura k. Montagnino, 30, each were arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mercuris was stopped by Patrolman Gary Fuller around 9:45 p.m. on Route 34. Montagnino was stopped by Patrolman James Cadigan around 11:30 p.m. by Patrolman James Cadigan, according to a release from Sgt. Frank Lancellotti.
Both were charged and released with a court date, Lancellotti said.
