Two Township Men Arrested In Early Morning Stops

Drunken driving, drug possession are charges

Two township men were arrested following separate traffic stops early Thursday morning, police said.

Brian Mceneny, 26, was arrested and charged by Patrolman James Cadigan with driving while intoxicated and possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana around 1:15 a.m. following a traffic stop on Route 138, according to a release from Sgt. Frank Lancellotti.

Mceneny was charged and released pending a court date, Lancellotti said.

Minutes later, another township man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 34, Lancellotti said.

Austin Vidich, 20, was charged and released around 1:35 a.m. pending a court date after a stop by Patrolman Dan Mason, Lancellotti said.

A Morganville man was arrested and charged with drunken driving Wednesday following a minor traffic accident, police said.

Michael Caracciola, 25, was charged with driving while intoxicated by Patrolman Eric Jennings around 9:30 p.m. at routes 34 and 70, according to a release from Sgt. Lancellotti.

Caracciolia also was charged with being under the influence of a controlled, dangerous substance. He was charged and released pending a court date, Lancellotti said.
