Wall Police Issue Travel Ban

Effective immediately and until further notice

If you're not an emergency responder, stay off the roads, Wall Police say.

Effective immediately and until further notice the police have instutited a travel ban on all non-emergency personnel. Because of downed power wires, utility poles, heavy flooding and other hazards, it is impossible to drive any state, county or local road without encountering a hazard or detour, Lt. Walter Pomphrey said.

Only essential personnel, emergency service members, and health care professionals should travel and they should use extreme caution, Pomphrey said.
